Half of procurement centres breach laws

Inspections of procurement centres continued in the second quarter of 2013 when the number of shortcomings increased by 20% in comparison with the previous period. “Half of inspected operators had problems abiding with applicable laws when procuring secondary raw materials. Besides breaches of fairness of sale, inspectors proved failures to inform about prices of procured secondary raw materials, use of uncertified measuring tools as well as shortcomings in obligatory register of persons from who sellers purchased secondary raw material,” Vladimír Velčovský, the Director of the CTIA, said.
