(Final report of the project of 2015)
(Prague, May 13, 2016) Inspection action of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority was aimed at the inspection of fulfilment of legal regulations by distributors of water scooters defined as recreational crafts. There aren’t many distributors of these products in the Czech market because of high prices of water products and prohibition to use combustion-engine-powered crafts on water dams and watercourses as stipulated by the applicable decree. An inspection of one water scooter type manufactured abroad showed only a formal shortcoming which was subsequently removed by the distributor.
