(Prague, December 8, 2017) The number of sales presentation events decreases. Unfair sellers leave the ordinary face-to-face contact and move to the internet and offer products also on the phone. This is proven by the increased number of submissions from consumers relating to online and phone offers. In the third quarter 2017, CTIA carried out 16 inspections at presentation sales events and detected violations of laws in only 2 cases which is the lowest number in history of inspections. Last year, it carried out 46 inspections in the same period and detected violations of applicable law in 30 cases. In the third qarter of 2017, in total 12 fines amounting to almost 4 millin Czech crowns came into force.
