(Prague, October 20, 2014) Within monitoring of offer of products intended for child-care products, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority detected that there is a products that poses serious risk to small children. It is a children’s playpen composed of six parts. Its purpose is to prevent children from leaving the safe space inside the playpen. The product is equipped with a gate in which a cutting space occurs where a child can clash its fingers within accidental manipulation. CTIA ordered withdrawal of the product from the market and prepares documentation concerning notification to the RAPEX system.
