Sale of alcohol to teenagers is not uncommon in northern Moravia

(Ostrava, January 26, 2018) At the end of 2017, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian Regions carried out an extraordinary inspection aimed at compliance with the Act on the Protection of Public Health from Harmful Effects of Drugs. In 8 inspections, 6 law violations were found when vendors sold alcohol to persons under the age of 18. These were mainly wine shops and large food chain stores.
