(Ostrava, 19 December 2019) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian Regions regularly monitors the appearance of counterfeits at the municipal marketplace in Ostrava. This time, it carried out 15 inspections and found violations of law in all cases. "The sale, offer or storage of counterfeits wasn’t detected this time. Nevertheless, we have seen a greater number of violations of the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. 12 on-the-spot fines were imposed for the deficiencies identified," says Boris Stabryn, the Director of the regional inspectorate.
