(Prague, 24 August 2020) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority evaluated inspections of submersible pumps intended for households, gardens and for pumping polluted water from excavations, pits, muddy ponds for demanding conditions in the construction industry. In the past year, it inspected 27 types of these products and found deficiencies in 13 of them. "The inspection activity on submersible sump pumps fulfilled its purpose. Inspectors focused not only on the marking and technical documentation supplied with the product, which is important for the safe use of pumps, but they also mapped the sale of submersible sludge pumps in the Czech Republic," said Mojmír Bezecný, the Director of the CTIA.
