(Final report of 2016)
(Prague, November 11, 2016) Each year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority monitors activities of sellers during the summer touristic season. Inspections aimed at offer and sale of products and provision of services were carried out this summer as well. The CTIA carried out 1,350 inspections within which violations of legal regulations were discovered in 498 cases which represented almost 37%. Inspectors imposed 455 fines amounting to CZK 860,500.
