(Prague, January 19, 2018) Also in 2017, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority focussed on compliance with obligations within sale of used cars. In the period from May 22 to October 31, 2017, it carried out 65 inspections in used cars workplaces on the whole territory of the Czech Republic. It detected violations of law in 37 cases, which represented almost 60% of the total number of inspections. The situation didn't improve in comparison with 2016. Sellers still use deceptive or other illegal commercial practices that significantly damage consumers’ interests.
