(Prague, September 30, 2014) Last September weekend is a day of good wine as well as cuisine specialities and fun rides in the town of Mělník. A wine festival is traditionally held there and CTIA inspectors paid extraordinary attention to not only fairness of sale in stalls with refreshments and other sellers but also safety of amusement devices. Within visual inspections of 35 rides they detected operational shortcomings caused by incorrect installation. Prohibition of rides’ operation were imposed until remedy concerning 9 rides; in one case inspectors imposed terminated measure concerning removal of discovered defects. Inspectors also inspected 9 stalls with refreshments and detected shortcomings in 5 cases.
