(Prague, 22 December 2023) The provision of the Act on Retail and Wholesale Opening Hours prohibiting sales on certain public holidays in establishments larger than 200 square metres and other establishments applies on the 1st and 2nd Christmas Day on 25 and 26 December, on Christmas Eve on 24 December from 12 to 24 noon, and on the Day of the Restoration of the Independent Czech State and New Year’s Day on 1 January 2024.
