(Prague, July 16, 2019) The Czech Trade inspection Authority evaluated the inspection of mobile phone chargers carried out during the last year. Within 6 months, it checked 57 types of mobile phone chargers and found deficiencies in 37 types. It detected such defects in 5 types of products that it imposed protective measures consisting of the withdrawal of the particular products from the market. "The results of the inspection of mobile phone chargers have confirmed that most inspected products have deficiencies of both technical and administrative nature and have indicated that inspections need to continue to prevent the use of non-compliant devices with a certain degree of danger to the final consumer,” said the CTIA Director Mojmír Bezecný.
