More of anonymous pawnshops clients

(Prague, August 30, 2018) In the second quarter of this year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority carried out 105 inspections, focusing also on law that puts obligation traders to properly identify their clients. The situation slightly worsened when compared with the second quarter of 2017, as inspectors reported violations of such law in 15 cases, which was by 10 cases more than in the same period last year. "We can say, however, that traders have observed the limitations of night time opening hours, i.e. from 22.00 to 06.00, when the buy-out of used products and products without any proof of purchase of such item is forbidden," says the Director General of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority Mojmír Bezecný.
