Fakes for almost 2.7 million found at Hatě Marketplace

(Brno, December 19, 2016) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Jihomoravský and Zlínský Region regularly monitors sale of goods at the marketplace ASIA BAZAR Hatě where counterfeits of branded goods are frequently offered. On December 8, 2016, the CTIA carried out another extraordinary inspection action focused on compliance with intellectual property rights and collected 331 pieces of counterfeits in the total price of almost CZK 2.7 million. Apple counterfeits collected at a stand at the Prague main railway station

(Prague, December 15, 2016) On December 6, 2016, CTIA officers carried out an inspection of offer and sale of products infringing certain intellectual property rights. The inspection was carried out at a stand with audio goods, located in the hall of the Prague main railway station. Counterfeits of Apple products were discovered. CTIA imposed fines exceeding 11 million for presentation events

Alcohol – 3Q of 2016

(Hradec Králové, November 29, 2016) Late November, a joint inspection action was carried out together with members of the Customs Administration of the Pardubice Region and the Czech Environmental Inspectorate from Hradec Králové. CTIA inspected Black Friday
