(Prague, 1 February 2023) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority annually evaluates the quality inspections of fuels for the past period. In 2022, it took 2,545 samples of fuels at filling stations throughout the Czech Republic and 18 samples (0.7%) failed to meet the quality requirements. During the past year, the CTIA imposed a ban on the sale of 48,352.31 litres of fuels with a value amounting to CZK 2,048,113.63. There were no major changes in the overall comparison with 2021, when out of 2 611 fuel samples, 19 samples (0.7%) failed to meet the quality requirements.
