(Prague, November 2, 2015) Within inspections focused on electric devices the Czech Trade Inspection Authority detected that vendors in the inner market offer a product which poses hazard. Expert opinion showed that the product fails obligations concerning construction and marking as stipulated in the Act on Technical Requirements for Products. Proportions of two-pole power cord plug don’t comply with the determined model and information concerning safe use of the light as well as instructions for use are provided in English. Therefore distribution of the light was prohibited and withdrawal from distribution was ordered.
