Organizers of presentation events changed tactics

(Prague, March 17, 2015) In recent weeks, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority has spotted extraordinary increase concerning the number of dissatisfied consumers who turned to the Authority regarding purchases of goods at presentation sales events organized directly in companies’ offices. Such purchases are comparable with purchases in ordinary shops and hence it is not possible to withdraw from the contract during 14 days without any reason. Moreover, many consumers didn’t receive any bill of purchase which should be issued by sellers on consumer’s request.
