Prohibition on retail sales doesn’t apply on January 1, but we cannot count on purchases on New Year’s Day

(Prague, January 1, 2020) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority responds to numerous questions from consumers, entrepreneurs and journalists, and explains that the Act on Retail and Wholesale opening hours will not apply again tomorrow, i.e. on January 1, 2021. However, it is still necessary to think about the current measures of the Government of the Czech Republic and to count on consumers will not on New Year's Day.
