(Prague, January 1, 2020) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority responds to numerous questions from consumers, entrepreneurs and journalists, and explains that the Act on Retail and Wholesale opening hours will not apply again tomorrow, i.e. on January 1, 2021. However, it is still necessary to think about the current measures of the Government of the Czech Republic and to count on consumers will not on New Year's Day.

(Prague, December 30, 2020) Today, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, in cooperation with the Police of the Czech Republic, carried out an inspection of establishments located on the premises of the Prague SAPA market. Pyrotechnics were sold on the spot, which is contrary to the current measure of the Government of the Czech Republic. A violation in the surveillance competence of the CTIA was also detected.

(Prague, December 21, 2020) On December 16, 2020, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the South Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region, in cooperation with the Alien Police, carried out an extraordinary inspection action at the marketplace in Vyšší Brod. (Prague, 11 December 2020) In the third quarter of this year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority continued to inspect the offer and provision of services related to the conclusion of energy supply contracts.
