CTIA found infringements in almost 80% of inspected e-shops

One oil sample failed in October

(Prague, November 26, 2019) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority continued in fuel quality inspections. In October, it took 248 fuel samples, including 1 diesel fuel sample which failed the required parameters.

Alcohol was sold to juveniles in Brno

(Brno, November 25, 2019) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the South Moravian Region carried out an extraordinary inspection of restaurants and premises opened in evenings and at nights in Brno. The focus was on the sale of alcohol to juveniles. Alcoholic beverages were sold to juveniles in 7 of 9 inspected workplaces.

All Souls‘ Day with fines in North Moravia

(Ostrava, November 18, 2019) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian Regions evaluated the inspections of the sale of All Soul’s Day goods. All inspected vendors sold alcohol to juveniles in Děčín on Friday

(Ústí nad Labem, November 12, 2019) Last Friday, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority of Ústí nad Labem and Liberec inspected the ban on selling alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years in Děčín. CTIA took counterfeits for 24 million CZK

(Prague, November 11, 2019) Inspections aiming at counterfeits of different kinds of consumer goods offered to consumers in the Czech market continued in the third quarter of 2019. During the year, CTIA officers took 10,666 items of products infringing certain intellectual property rights, i.e. in almost 16% of 312 inspections. These were counterfeits in the value of originals amounting to CZK 24,114,613. In total 281 fines amounting to CZK 4,568,500 were lawfully imposed in the third quarter of 2019.
